Phil Henninge
President and CEO
Phil Henninge has worked as a programmer for Demand Technology Software since 1996. Previously, he was employed for 13 years in the IT department of a Fortune 500 manufacturer as a mainframe performance analyst and capacity planner.
Phil lives in Cape Coral, Florida, with his wife, son, and daughter. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Kent State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Mount Union College. He enjoys photography, sailing, and coaching Little League baseball.
Stephen R. Campbell
Director of Sales
Stephen’s experience at the senior management level in information technology spans 20 years at a variety of enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Demand Tech, his experience includes senior management roles at OnDemand Software, Webster Network Strategies, 21st Century Software, and ASG Software Solutions.
Richard Viets
Director of Customer Services
Richard has spent the majority of his career conceiving of technology products and bringing them to market. Mr. Viets was one of the co-founders of Webster Network Strategies and co-inventor of SmartFilter, the pioneering server-based Internet filtering tool for businesses and schools. Following the company's sale to Secure Computing Corporation, he served for two years as the Vice President and General Manager of Secure's Web Tools Division. During that time SmartFilter evolved into a multi-platform OEM-based product with a strong international presence. Mr. Viets also invented SecureWire, an early entrant into the emerging extranet authentication and authorization marketplace. Prior to co-founding Webster Network Strategies, Mr. Viets served as a Senior Vice President of Fischer International, where he was responsible for the company’s email and messaging products.
Joanne Decker
Chief Financial Officer
Joanne has been with Demand Technology Software for the past 11 years in the accounting and finance division. She has over 20 years of management and finance experience in the computer software industry.
Dave Steier
Chief Technology Officer
Dave Steier brings nearly three decades of software development experience to Demand Technology Software. He joined the company in 1997, concentrating his expertise on developing and perfecting the Performance Sentry data collection agent. Prior to Demand Tech, he worked for Liant Software, where he developed a multi-platform Windowing Library.
Dave has been a software developer for more than 25 years. Early in his career, he specialized in C and various assemblers, and then moved on to Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX. His skills are in C++ programming, object-oriented analysis and design, and developing production-quality code under tight deadlines. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. When not working, Dave enjoys eating and sleeping and the occasional XBOX FPS, with the exception of Air Force Delta Storm.
Mark Friedman
Founder
Mark’s experience in information technology spans 25 years as a recognized expert in computer performance and storage management. Prior to founding Demand Tech, his experience includes senior technical and management roles at Datacore Software, Landmark Systems, Morino Associates, and StorageTek.
Mark is the author of the Windows Server 2003 Performance Guide, a volume in the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit, published by Microsoft Press in 2005. His earlier book, Windows 2000 Performance Guide, was published by O’Reilly Associates in February 2002. Mark was the recipient of the Computer Measurement Group’s prestigious Michaelson Award in 2005. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
